Hej, world — why we started Hej Labs

Hej Labs is a digital agency based in Bali, working remotely since 2020. We build our own products — and custom web apps, software, games and AI for founders and teams who care about the details.

We started Hej Labs to keep the part of building we love and cut the rest: small teams, real craft, and shipping things people actually use. No account managers, no offshore hand-offs, no twelve-week discovery phases.

What we're building

Half of our time goes into our own products. The other half goes into client work that we treat exactly like our own — because, honestly, half the time it becomes a product too.

• Cendekia — a learning platform for students and tutors.
• Capitalist — a property-trading board game, reimagined.

How we like to work

A tight loop from idea to shipped: a real conversation, fast clickable prototypes, senior engineers shipping in short cycles, and then growing the product together. You see progress weekly, in production.

Good software feels obvious. We sweat the details so the thing you ship feels inevitable — fast, quiet, and built to last.
